" Sunshine and Candy"

In 2014 we returned to South Africa from living in the UK for just under a year, while  travelling along the N2 close to Humans dorp was the first time we saw these wind turbines scattered along the landscape.

Right away I was mesmerized by the sheer scale and exquisite engineering of these remarkable  machines, I knew I wanted to paint them but only years later it came to me how to go about it in a fun way while introducing the concept of innocence in the form of a child's play windmill,  if renewable energy leads to preservation and for a better cleaner earth for next ' generation '  then I love that idea
