Zac says "One year in the making this is by far the biggest project we have attempted. So happy with the outcome, exactly as I had envisioned !

The inspiration comes from three generations of painting ducks, so I thought it was time to create a modern immortalized version of the subject. Not only referencing my own “Duck” painting, but my father Dallas’ much loved duck paintings (which was his and our family's 'bread and butter') & my grandfather also painted a few duck paintings in his later career (this is where the title comes from) ... and even my brother (Timothy painted and sold a duck painting as a teenager. 

The process required fine design and engineering as it is intense and multi-layered with stainless steel (similar to marine grade) with its high melting point requiring a hotter firing than bronze (and most metals) and hours of labour intensive hand polishing after the machining process in order to maintain the extra high gloss."
