Untrammelled

For some reason a lot of people have  asked me if elephants are seen  in the water like this ?....  anybody that has spent enough time observing these magnificent creatures will know that they love the water, not only does it cool them off but they actually looks like they having fun .... This was one of my favorite paintings to tackle, a friend sent me photos of an individual elephant at a drinking hole in Hoedspruit, after seeing them I knew exactly how I wanted to compose the painting
